Description

Bring the legendary power of Lugia to your collection with this high-detail Pokeball. This model has been

designed and tested on a Bambu Lab P2S to ensure perfect fitment and a professional finish. Unlike single-body models, this Multi-Part Edition allows you to print each component in its native color, drastically reducing filament waste (poop) and printing time.

🛠 Design Features (DfAM)

  • Surface Quality: Designed for Variable Layer Height to achieve a seamless finish on the sphere’s dome.
  • Minimal Waste: No AMS color-switching mid-layer required if printed by parts.

🚀 Recommended Print Settings (Bambu Studio/Orca Slicer)

For the best results, use the following configuration:

  • Layer Height: Variable Layer Height (Adaptive) between 0.08mm and 0.2mm (crucial for the top dome).
  • Infill: 10% Gyroid (Best for high-speed stability).
  • Walls: 2 Wall Loops (to prevent infill ghosting on white parts).
  • Supports: Tree Slim (only where needed ).
  • Seam Position: Set to Back or Aligned to hide it behind the wings.
  • Adhesion: * Brim Type: Outer Brim Only.
  • Brim Width: 2mm - 5mm (essential for the small crest pieces).
  • Print Sequence: "By Object" is recommended if printing multiple colors on the same plate to avoid stringing.

🧩 Assembly Instructions

  1. Print all parts in their respective colors (White, Blue, Black/Dark Grey).
  2. Test the fitment before applying adhesive.
  3. Use Cyanoacrylate glue (Super Glue) to secure the wings, crests, and the central button.
  4. The central ring acts as the main structural axis for the two hemispheres.
