For better stability and print reliability, I recommend using the V2 model:
This is a modified version of Antolka’s TPU spool holder for the P2S and X2D printer.
It works just fine without ball bearings.
The design has been adjusted with a focus on reducing print time and material usage while maintaining structural stability.
It features an ergonomic shape with chamfers and rounded edges for comfortable handling and a clean appearance.
All parts are arranged on a single build plate and make use of different layer heights to balance print speed and surface quality.
- 50% time and 40% material saving
- Everything on one plate with diffrent layer heigts
Note: The holder is not suitable for cardboard spools because they cause too much friction.
For large projects such as bags or shoes, the TPU should be printed from a dry box.
