Description

A fully 3D printed gyroscope mounted inside a three-axis gimbal. Spin the flywheel by hand or with a string, and the gyroscope will resist changes in orientation due to angular momentum.

The flywheel is printed separately with 100% infill for maximum mass.

 The gimbal is fully print-in-place.

For better performance, add a small drop of oil to the flywheel axle pivots where they connect to the gimbal. This helps reduce friction and lets the gyroscope spin more smoothly.
