Girls on the Run – Practice 5K Participation Medals 🏅

These medals were designed as participation awards for Girls on the Run Practice 5K runners and their Running Buddies — a meaningful keepsake for every girl who crosses that finish line, regardless of pace or place.

The design features running girl image, star accents, and a name plate at the bottom. Files are included for both the runner medal and the Running Buddy medal.

🎨 Single Color vs. Two-Color (Filament Swap)

The medal prints beautifully in a single filament but really pops with a filament swap for the embossed design, text, and stars. To get the two-tone look:

• Inner/Outer split version: Print _outer.stl as your base color, then print _inner.stl in your accent color and glue them together.
• Single-file color swap version: Use any of the models and add a filament change (or pause) at the layer in the table below based on layer height:

✏️ Blank Files — Personalize Your Way

All files included here are blank (name plate is empty). You have a few options:

1. Write names in with a paint pen or marker after printing — quick and easy for large teams.
2. Use your slicer to emboss a name by subtracting a text mesh before slicing.
3. Message me! If you'd like personalized medals with each runner's name already in the model, I'm happy to help. I'm considering setting up an Etsy listing for custom runs — reach out and we can figure out what works for your team size and timeline.
