Description

I designed a pocket style rock climbing hold, for use in your gym or at home wall. Kids can comfortably fit 3 fingers in it, adults can fit 2 or 3 if bunched up. The threaded hole will fit a standard 3/8" bolt. I printed this in PLA Basic and it has held up fine, but use your own discretion for your situation whether you think you might need a tougher material.

BambuStudio settings:

  • Quality > Layer height: .12mm
  • Strength > Walls > Wall loops: 5
  • Strength > Sparse infill > Density: 25%, Pattern: Triangles
  • Others > Special mode > Fuzzy skin: Contour, Point distance: 0.2, Thickness: 0.7

Recommendation:

Purchase an anti-slip spray such as this one on Amazon and spray it on the hold to make it much easier to grip. This plus the fuzzy skin settings above will make the grip comparable to professionally made holds.
