Description

X2D Rear Poop Chute / Waste Guide

This is my first MakerWorld upload, so feedback is definitely welcome.

I recently got the Bambu Lab X2D after briefly having a P2S, and I quickly realized that the P1S/P2S-style poop chute designs I had seen did not fit the X2D rear layout correctly. I looked around for an X2D version that fit the way I wanted, but couldn’t find one that matched the exhaust/vent layout cleanly.

So I used this as a chance to learn Shapr3D and design my own X2D-specific poop chute from scratch.

I modeled this using calipers and test-fitted it on my own X2D to make sure the fit was right. The goal was a clean, snug fit next to the rear exhaust fan while still leaving the adjacent vent holes uncovered. It sits flat on the table, has a slim profile, and does not move around during printing even with normal printer vibration.

Fitment notes

  • Designed specifically for the Bambu Lab X2D
  • Sits snugly beside the rear exhaust fan
  • Does not cover the nearby vent holes
  • Flat bottom for stable placement
  • Slim profile so it does not take up unnecessary space behind the printer
  • Test-fitted on my own X2D

Print notes

I printed mine in PETG using the default Bambu Lab X2D 0.20 mm Standard profile, and it worked well for me on the first print.

PETG is recommended because purge waste is less likely to stick aggressively to it compared with printing the chute in PLA. That said, feel free to adjust the settings based on your own filament, plate, and preferred print quality.

If you find a better profile or improved settings, please upload your own print profile so others can benefit too.
