Description
Roof Skid – RC Roof Protection
I designed these roof skids to protect the top of my RC body from scratches, impacts, and wear during rollovers. They’re compact, durable, and very lightweight—perfect for adding protection without adding unnecessary weight.
🔧 Features:
- Simple and effective design
- Protects against scrapes and flips
- Very lightweight (≈ 10 g of filament)
- Easy installation (screws or glue depending on your setup)
🧱 Print Settings:
- Supports required
- Layer height: 0.2 mm recommended
- Infill: 15–25%
- Material: PLA, PETG, or ABS
💡 Tips:
For heavy use (bashing, skatepark, etc.), PETG or ABS is recommended for better impact resistance.
