Long 4mm iFixit Screwdriver with Rotating Cap

Bill of Materials
Description
I designed a precision screwdriver inspired by the iFixit driver. Its dimensions closely match the original, making it compatible with standard bits.
The design supports a 4 mm diameter × 2 mm thick magnet, which helps keep the bit in place without creating too much resistance during use. After printing, you can simply insert the magnet into its slot and secure it with a small drop of glue.
If you prefer a cleaner method, you can pause the print at layer 1510 to place the magnet mid-print.
Two versions of the screwdriver are available:
- Magnetic version – uses the magnet for convenient bit retention
- Non-magnetic version – features a tighter fit to hold the bit securely without a magnet
The rotating cap is printed at a 45° angle to improve durability. It snaps firmly into place and stays secure during use, though removing it requires a fair amount of force.
