Finally managed to get my hands on an IKEA ÅKERBÄR Large (65cm) — and of course had to design a full modular system for it (H2S compatible) 🌿 *For smaller print beds, see my alternative version:

A complete system combining pegboard organisation with optional humidity base trays, allowing you to create a clean, functional, and fully adaptable plant setup.

Whether you want full humidity coverage or a more open layout, this system gives you flexibility to build your setup your way.

🔧 System Overview

This design includes multiple modular components that can be used together or separately depending on your setup:

Pegboard System (3 Parts)

• 3-piece pegboard design (H2S compatible)
• Designed for clean alignment and secure mounting
• Compatible with SKÅDIS-style accessories
• Boards are 3mm thick (SKÅDIS standard is ~5mm)

Base Options

Option 1 – Full Base Tray System
• 3 trays for full base coverage
• Acts as a passive humidity system
• Suitable for lava rock, Leca, pumice, etc.

Option 2 – Support Base
• Alternative base for pegboard support
• Leaves cabinet base open
• Ideal for lighter or more minimal setups

Optional Add-Ons

• Optional insert + lid system (matching previous designs)
• Supports controlled humidity propagation setups
