Snap Together Toy Truck

Rugged Toy Truck. This was an unexpected project for a friend, but I'm very happy with the result. This was designed to be very sturdy to be played wtih not simply put on display. Built for easy assembly and very strong once complete. The design takes cues from trucks and off road vehicles and has many features making it fun for play. The hood opens to reveal a hidden engine, doors open, and tailgate lowers. Additional accessories are in development and coming soon including a camper trailer, motorcycles, 4 wheeler, roof top tent, and other items to expand play.

The model is 100% 3d Printed with no need for additional hardware. Everything snaps together with hidden tension pins, and a tool is included to help make this process easier on the fingers. Assembly is pretty quick, and this will make a very sturdy toy for any child who is a little rough with things. And if a part does manage to get damaged or needs replaced, it's easy to print a replacement part and snap it into place. If giving to a very small child, I would recommend a drop of glue on the lights as they are press fit into place and pretty snug but that depends a little on individual printers.

No AMS is required however can be used to add additional decoration. The side panels, doors, hood, and tailgate all print face down on the print bed making them easy to be customized with graphics or lettering or other painting within the print slicer. There is also a small license plate that can be personalized.

This is a larger print but worth it for a kid wanting a toy that can hold up to tough play.
