Description
This is one of my first projects and I wanted to create something simple but a bit different.
I tried to make a vase that looks like a piece of wood with a natural crack going through it. The outside has a rough, bark-like texture, and the inside is smooth.
After printing, I used a gold spray paint only inside the crack and inside the vase. It’s a really simple finish, but it gives a cool effect and makes the design stand out.
The vase is about 27 cm tall, so it works really well with dried flowers, grass or simple decorations, but it also looks nice just on its own.
I printed it in PLA (light color), but it should work with most standard filaments.
There are two versions included:
- A1 Mini version (split to fit smaller bed)
- Standard version (full vase for bigger printers)
Finishing:
I used gold spray paint only inside the crack and inside the vase.
Still learning and experimenting, so if you have any ideas or feedback, I’d really appreciate it 👍
