Parametric Custom Skadis Bins

This is a customizable drawer system designed to mount to IKEA Skadis pegboards. The model is parametric, allowing you to tailor the design to fit your specific storage needs within a controlled set of variables.
 

Customization Variables You can modify the following parameters:

  • Dimensions
  • Text and SVG images
  • Textures
  • Handles
  • Compartments

Important Documentation 
Please refer to the supplied PDF for assembly instructions and descriptions of the settings. The document also describes how to make use of alternative backplates to ensure bins sit adjacent to one another.

Printing Instructions
Download as 3mf if you want to use the colors specified in the design.

Download as stl if you want to paint your own colors.
You will need to Split to Objects on your downloaded files, then I recommend arranging the files to different plates as indicated in the Sample print profile.
Supports are recommended, normal supports tend to work better for tree supports.

SVG Images & Custom Text
If you choose to add text or images, I recommended normal supports over tree supports for a cleaner finish.
Please note that the default svg settings are designed to work with the MakerWorld default logo. If you include your own svg image, you will need to scale it up to fit your drawer.
 

In the past I created non parametric push button cubes, for those who prefer a mechanical ejection mechanism.
 

 

Note:
Model may comprise small parts that could pose a choking hazard and is therefore not suitable for small children under the age of 3.
