SVEC Camera Restyling
Print Profile(1)

Description
I designed this cover as a restyling of an old SV3C camera (last photo), giving it a new look, as the old cover was designed for outdoor use.
The cover features a minimalist and ergonomic spherical design, conceived to integrate aesthetics and functionality. The 'shell' geometry wraps around the camera body, transforming a standard electronic device into a discreet and modern piece of furniture. The rounded shape not only has aesthetic value but is also designed to minimize sharp edges, making the device visually less intrusive in home or professional environments.
In the inner sphere of the camera, the front part, which houses the rotating interlocking mechanism, leaves the central lens and the ring of IR (infrared) sensors and status LEDs free, ensuring that night vision and image quality are not compromised. I kept the original glass to avoid unnecessary waste.
At the bottom, there is a hole dedicated to cable passage, designed to maintain a clean profile and facilitate wall or wooden beam installation using the specific provision at the back of the shell cover.
The interlocking system allows for quick maintenance of the internal camera. I will provide a PDF below to better understand its operation.
Dimensions:
Internal camera body - total diameter 80 mm; distance between internal holes 51.336 mm.
Bearing seat - outer diameter 22.1 mm - 21.9 mm in shell seat (to hold the bearing firmly); inner diameter 8 mm; height 7.1 mm.
!N.B. The print time might seem extremely long, but I can assure you that for optimal results, all the time invested will be necessary. Variations in print diameter will certainly affect speed, but I do not guarantee the same result I achieved with my settings.!
* I apologize in advance if there were any imperfections or errors in my files or my working method. I am not a professional in the field, but rather all of this is the result of my passion for the 3D world. All advice and corrections will be welcome. Thank you.
