Parametric Filter Box (Cokin, Cinema Filters, ...)

This simple design allows you to travel safely with your favorite square-shaped lens filter without having to deal with multiple boxes / pouches.

AVAILABLE PRINT PROFILES :

You will find 4 boxes (for 3, 5, 7 and 9 filters) ready to print with each print profiles.
Currently, the available print profiles are the following :

• 4"x4" Cinema Filters
• 4"x5,6" Cinema Filters
• Cokin S (previously A) Serie  - both 67x67 and 67x72mm
• Cokin M (previously P) Serie  - both 84x84 and 84x100mm
• Cokin L (previously Z-Pro) Serie  - both 100x100 and 100x150
• Cokin XL (previously X-Pro) Serie  - both 130x130 and 130x170mm

Alternatively, or if you want boxes for more than 9 filters, you can use the parametric option to make your own boxes !

PARAMETRIC MODEL

Use the “Customize” Button to make your own boxes.

A box thickness of 3mm for small filter up to 5mm for bigger boxes is recommended, avoid other value (not tested)

For the moment, the box generation is only available for an odd number of filter starting from 3 filters boxes.

TIPS

Use 3 walls and Gyroid infill for better strength.

Before printing big boxes or custom one, to avoid wasting filament, I recommend to print the lid and a cut part of the box to check if your printer / filament tolerance is good and that the model fit your lens filters.

Also, the lid may fit too tightly and will need a few openings to wear the part a bit and make it easier.
