With this minimalist cable holder, your cables will never slip again and you can safely defuse all bombs!

My son and I recently started playing Bomb Busters and we really enjoy it. However, we quickly got annoyed that the cables would easily slip if you accidentally bumped the included holders, making it difficult to see which cable was where. I wanted to find a solution for this

With this cable holder, you can arrange your cables neatly and at even intervals without anything slipping. Cut cables and placed info markers also find space directly in front of the slot in the holder and are held in position. The goal was to replicate the game mechanics as accurately as possible to achieve the same game feeling as with the original holders. The holder was designed to be as minimalist as possible so that everything can be stored well in the box

The holder has space for 14 cables, which corresponds to the number of cables that fit on the included holders

I initially planned to label the individual slots with letters to make it easier to announce which cable to cut. In practice, however, we found that this wasn't really necessary, and the letters even somewhat disrupted the game experience. Therefore, I omitted them in the final model. For those who still want to print the holders with letter markings, I've added the holder with letter embossments on an additional print plate. And for those who want to go a step further, I've included a third print plate with letters that can be glued into the embossments (see photo). This is certainly an eye-catcher, but admittedly a bit fiddly :) As I said, we use the simple holders without letters and are happy with them :)

How everything fits in

3 cable holders in the box, one on the left, 2 stacked on the right

Then store the material in between and underneath

Place the last two cable holders upside down on top

After that, place the cards on top

Finally, simply place the board and the instructions on top, done

Since we haven't opened any boxes yet because we're not that far along, I'm excited to see what else comes and if my plan works out :D

Enjoy this model, I hope the bomb defusers out there like it, happy printing :)
