Description

A unique hybrid design that combines 3D printing with a simple sheet of paper to create a functional pencil holder using little filament.

Instead of printing a full container, this model is designed to be printed directly onto an A4 sheet of paper, which is then folded into a sturdy tube.

How it works

  1. Place an A4 sheet tightly on your print bed
  2. Secure it by folding the edges between the build plate and magnetic sheet
  3. Print the model directly onto the paper (Check first layer slip as it can ruin the paper)
  4. Trim and fold the paper into a tube (Leave one flap)
  5. Glue the flap to lock the shape

Why this design?

• Uses very little filament
• Fast print time
• Creative combination of materials
• Lightweight but functional
• Great for experimenting with new making techniques

Perfect as a desk accessory, a quick print project, or a creative demonstration of hybrid fabrication.
