Description
The Type 03 Automatic Rifle (English: Type 03 Assault rifle, Chinese designation: QBZ-03 Automatic Rifle) is a small-caliber automatic rifle developed by China North Industries Group Corporation. The rifle was finalized in December 2003 and began equipping the Chinese People's Liberation Army in 2006, becoming one of its standard service rifles. It fires 5.8×42mm rifle cartridges and is primarily used by anti-aircraft, special forces, armored, and regular troops.
