Custom Fridge Name Magnets

Turn your favorite handwritten notes, signatures, doodles, or drawings into custom 3D printed magnets! These are perfect for preserving kids’ handwriting, sweet notes, signatures from loved ones, or even simple sketches in a fun and personalized way.

The included files give you a blank magnet template that you can fully customize with your own SVG handwriting/designs, plus a notebook-paper style .3mf example to help get started.

✏️ How To Customize

1. Download the blank rectangle template.
2. Convert your handwriting/photo into an SVG using Inkscape.
3. Import the SVG into Bambu Studio.
4. Scale the SVG to fit inside the rectangle template.
5. Set the SVG object height to 1mm.
   • The SVG should sit directly on the build plate (touching the bottom and “inside” the template).
6. Highlight all parts and Merge them together.
7. After merging:
   • Highlight the merged objects
   • Click Align
   • Select Top +Z
8. Slice and print!

This will properly raise both the handwritten section and the outer frame edge for the clean layered effect shown in the photos.

🧲 Magnet Information

This model is designed to fit the Bambu Lab 4x2 round magnets.

🎨 Customization

• Change colors however you’d like!
• Use different frame colors, backgrounds, or handwriting colors.
• The included .3mf contains a notebook paper example similar to the “Saylor” magnet shown in the photos.

⚠️ Important Print Notes

• Use a 0.2mm nozzle for best quality
  The fine handwriting details really benefit from the smaller nozzle.
• Recommended layer height: 0.08–0.12mm for sharp detail.
