Description

I designed this arm because I needed a solid, highly modular solution that wouldn't sag under the weight of a monitor. The system is fully modular, allowing you to use different combinations of segments to fit your needs. It has been optimized for maximum stiffness and ease of assembly.

🛠️ Key Features:

  • VESA 100x100 / 75x75 Standard: Compatible with most monitors on the market.
  • Heavy-Duty Construction: Thoroughly tested with PETG. The arm features thickened walls in high-stress areas to prevent failure.
  • Custom Screw System: The project uses fully 3D-printable, high-strength bolts and axles—no extra hardware or metal screws required!
  • Universal Desk Clamp: Designed to fit most tabletops securely.

⚙️ Recommended Print Settings:

To ensure maximum strength and the safety of your monitor, please use the following settings:

  • Material: PETG (highly recommended for its durability and slight flexibility) or high-quality PLA.
  • Wall Loops: Minimum 5-6 (Crucial! Walls provide more strength than infill).
  • Infill: 25-40% (Gyroid or Cubic recommended for multi-axis strength).
  • Top/Bottom Layers: 5.

💡 Assembly Tips:

  1. Smooth Threads: If the printed screws feel too tight, apply a small drop of lubricant or silicone oil. PETG can sometimes experience "galling" (friction welding) with tight tolerances.
  2. Non-Standard Desk Frames: If your desk has a metal frame near the edge (meaning the screw hits the frame instead of the flat tabletop), you can use a
  3. 3D-printed spacer. I recommend using my other model as a base: Fan Mounted GPU Pillar Base to perfectly level the mount.
  4. Final Safety Check: Once assembled, test all joints and the clamp's stability before mounting any heavy equipment.
