Description
Fully 3D printed, continuously height-adjustable foot with thread for hydroponics towers in IKEA Sortera 37L boxes. Water flows silently through the foot – no splashing! With integrated pump holder and hose guide.
The Problem DIY hydroponics towers using IKEA Sortera boxes often have two typical weaknesses: the support is difficult to adjust precisely, and the water splashes loudly back into the reservoir box — especially bothersome in indoor setups.
The Solution This height-adjustable foot is inserted into the lower Sortera 37L box and supports the entire tower column. Thanks to the coarse thread, the height can be continuously adjusted by simply turning — no detents, no wobbling.
Features
🔩 Stepless Height Adjustment via Thread — Coarse thread allows precise raising and lowering of the tower column by simply turning. No fixed steps, stable connection.
🤫 Silent Water Return — Water flows directly downwards through the hollow foot into the reservoir. No free waterfall, no splashing — whisper-quiet operation, even at night.
🔧 Integrated Pump Holder — A clamp with a mounting plate securely fixes the submersible pump in the reservoir box. No cable tie fiddling, no slipping.
🪠 Hose Guide — A dedicated conduit guides the pump hose cleanly from the pump outlet through the foot upwards into the tower column. Tidy and protected.
📦 Perfect Fit for IKEA Sortera 37L — Exactly tailored to the widely used IKEA Sortera box (37 liters), which serves as the nutrient solution reservoir.
How it Works's
- Insert foot into the lower Sortera box
- Attach pump with the integrated clamp
- Thread hose through the conduit
- Place tower column and adjust height by turning
- Water circulates upwards via the hose and returns silently through the hollow foot
