Description
Boost Me (for free)
Any boost is greatly appreciated and helps me make more fun stuff in the future :)
Just a quick idea I had, started out as nothing too fancy but turned into quite a fun thing, with a surprising amount of depth in terms of playing around.
For material you can just use PLA for the whole thing, but I recommend you print the wheels out of tough TPU, something like A95.
Features:
-Quick snap on magnet cover
-Fast acceleration
-LED lights with 2 colors
Controls:
-Uses the standard Cyber Brick controller
-It takes a surprising amount of skill to control it. You have to be careful with acceleration if you don't want to turn on itself.
-Right joystick is acceleration forwards and backwards
-Left joystick is turning left and right
-Left 3 sate switch is LED control
Cool tricks:
-Holding the left stick to the right or the left starts the spin. This combined with the LED creates a very cool visual effect.
-Making it spin and then holding the right joystick forwards makes it “break dance”
-Quickly accelerating it or switching directions makes it turn on its own axis and start to bounce. This combined with the LED also creates a cool visual effect.
