⚙️ Core Principle: Why can it 'twist and deform'?
Its 'slime / tangle' effect comes from an ingenious structure with the same origin as the tiger model — concentric circular track + segmented slider design:
- Hidden Internal Skeleton: At the center of the sphere is an invisible circular support skeleton. All segmented sections on the surface, separated by gaps, are fitted onto the skeleton with internal clasps, forming a sliding track system.
- Precise Tolerance Control: The gaps between each segment and the fit between the sliders and tracks are meticulously designed, preventing them from being too tight and getting stuck, or too loose and wobbling apart.
- Material Resilience and Rebound: PLA material itself has a certain degree of resilience. When you twist or squeeze the sphere, the segments will slide synchronously along the tracks, causing the originally regular spherical surface to twist and expand/contract like slime. After releasing it, the material's tension and the track's guidance will make it automatically rebound, restoring it to a complete rabbit head shape, providing a smooth and non-stuttering experience throughout.
