Description

Inspired by a custom tail tidy design seen online, this is my own 3D modeled and printed tail tidy made specifically for the Honda CRF300L / CRF300 Rally with focus on off-road durability and simplicity.

Unlike many street-focused tail tidies, this version was designed mainly for enduro and trail riding where the stock license plate holder is too large, heavy, and vulnerable to impacts, mud, and vibrations.

The goal was to keep the rear of the bike cleaner and more durable while still retaining license plate functionality for road use. Suitable for riders who frequently ride gravel, forest roads, mud, sand, and rough terrain.

Currently this tail tidy is still in testing stages. I actively ride with it in various off-road conditions including gravel, mud, sand, and uneven terrain to evaluate durability and vibration resistance in real riding situations.

This prototype was printed from PETG and so far it performs well, but stronger materials such as ASA, ABS, Nylon, or carbon fiber reinforced filaments would likely provide even better long-term durability for aggressive off-road use.
