Print Settings
- Material: PLA (works great with standard PLA or Matte-Finish).
- Colors: 3 (Brown/Beige for the head, White for the snout, Black for eyes & nose).
- Infill: 15–20% (Grid or Gyroid recommended).
- Support: Not required! The model is designed to lie flat on the print bed.
Plate: PEI Smooth or Textured (both work great).
- Tip: If you use the dish as a key tray in the hallway, you can stick small rubber feet under the bottom so it doesn't slip on smooth surfaces!
Why I share my designs
Behind each of my models is a very special reason: my 3-year-old son.
He lives with an extremely rare genetic defect (only about 20 known cases worldwide) that causes severe epilepsy, visual impairments, and muscle weakness.
Many of my designs were born out of necessity because commercial toys or aids are either unaffordable or simply not suitable for his special needs. I share these projects in the hope that they can make everyday life easier for other families in similar situations or bring a smile to their faces.
Not every model has a direct connection to my son. I also share practical solutions here that have proven to be helpful in our family life.
