Stall-proof Electric Cat Teaser

This is an automatic electric cat teaser driven by a geared motor.

Initially, I just wanted to make a small toy that could swing on its own, but the cat was crazier than I expected, pouncing almost as soon as it was turned on.

Key features of this version:

• Automatic swinging

To prevent the motor from stalling if the cat grabs it, I incorporated a magnetic buffer design into the structure.

When the cat teaser wand is grabbed by the cat, the magnetic force automatically disengages, preventing damage to the gears or motor.

The overall structure is relatively simple, making it easy to modify:
You can replace the cat teaser wand with different lengths, feathers, bells, or even convert it into a laser version.

- JGB37-520 12V 107 RPM geared motor
- PWM speed control module
- 18650 battery

- 9V charging boost module
- Magnetic coupling structure
