📏 Three Model Variants Included

I have uploaded a total of three slightly different models.
These differ minimally in size or tolerance.

During development, it became apparent that different filaments and printer settings can slightly affect the fit.

👉 My recommendation:
Use the middle model and print it unchanged. Experience shows that this one is neither too tight nor too loose and offers the best compromise.

🔩 Assembly Instructions

For the USB cover, please use 3.5 mm wood screws.

For mounting the dock under the desk, please use 3 mm screws, as the head is smaller. Make sure the head is also recessed.

⚠️ Important:
Make sure the screw heads do not protrude so that the MacBook can be slid in safely and cleanly without scratching. I recommend using soft filaments to prevent potential scratches. No CF filaments or similar. 

🔌 Note on the USB-C Cable

The matching USB-C cable must be ordered separately.

I recommend a cable from a reputable manufacturer.

The cable used can, for example, be easily ordered from the “big A” 🙂

🖥️ Usage Note

I designed it for only a single USB-C cable, as the setup is originally intended for monitors with USB-C connection.

This allows the MacBook to simultaneously:

• be charged
• transfer video
• transfer audio

… all via just one cable.

If multiple USB ports are needed, an additional USB hub can easily be connected to the monitor's USB hub. Typically, monitors with this function also have 2 additional USB ports that are controlled by the USB-C cable.
