Bill of Materials
Description
This is a robust tensioner pulley design, optimized for use in robotics projects, such as autonomous vehicles and transmission systems. As seen in the CAD design (image_d91c8d.png), the part features 8 symmetrical holes, allowing for great versatility in attaching different types of motors, shafts, or support structures.
The design has been physically tested (see WhatsApp Image 2026-05-13 at 18.52.25.jpeg) to ensure its structural integrity. It includes four internal reinforcing ribs that connect the central core to the outer edge, which helps maintain integrity under tension, a fundamental aspect in educational robotics and programming projects with platforms like Arduino.
Technical Specifications:
- Mounting: 8 fastening holes distributed for maximum compatibility.
- Reinforcement: Internal 4-spoke structure to prevent deformation.
- Applications: Ideal for robotics kits, vehicle prototypes, and pulley systems for school or professional computing projects.
- Versatility: Designed to be easily printed without the need for complex supports in most orientations.
Printing Recommendations:
- Material: PLA (for rapid prototypes) or PETG/ABS (for greater mechanical durability).
- Infill: A 40% or higher infill is recommended to ensure the firmness of the mounting holes.
- Walls: At least 3 walls to reinforce screw grip.
