1 Design Inspiration
“If the dark night ultimately arrives, I shall stand before ten thousand people, holding my saber across the abyss, staining the firmament with blood”
The design inspiration for this model comes from the super popular anime *Slay the Gods*. It is the standard equipment of the Great Xia Night Watchmen—the Star-Slaying Blade As a Cosplay prop modeled after the Tang horizontal saber, it not only embodies the martial spirit of the Tang saber but also incorporates the power to suppress mysterious "forbidden ruins," condensing the unyielding will of the Night Watchmen from the anime into this cold, straight blade
2 Design Highlights
- Big Dipper Engraving: The blade meticulously replicates the Big Dipper constellation diagram This is not just decoration, but also the source of starlight power. It is recommended to use PLA Silk filament for printing to achieve the visual effect of flowing starlight
- Authentic Recreation: Strictly references the proportions of the Night Watchmen's saber in the anime. The sharp lines of the kiriba-zukuri blade tip present an aesthetic quality that is both ascetic and imposing
- Crafted Embellishments: The fittings (guard and grip) feature complex cloud-dragon patterns meticulously recreated through high-precision modeling, adding detailed authenticity to your Cosplay
3 Printing Guide
- Filament Recommendations:
- Blade: Recommended to use PLA Silk+ Silver to achieve a metallic cold glow
- Fittings: Recommended PLA Metal Iridium Gold Metallic and PLA Metal Iron Gray Metallic to enhance surface texture
- Technical Parameters:
- Layer height: Default parameter is 0.2mm, using 0.12mm for the fittings on plate 1 yields better detail
- Supports: Print with default parameters (feasibility verified by printing)
- Segmented assembly: The blade body adopts a segmented modular design with built-in reinforcement slots. It is recommended to use 502 glue or AB adhesive for permanent fixation
