Description

Welcome!

Turn sound into something you can see, touch, and hang on your wall.

A single sound---your voice, a message, a memory---transformed into a physical waveform frozen in time.

Turn a sound into something physical that can live in your space right now.

What this is

Waveform Wall Art is a Customizable 3D-printable waveform photo that turns audio into a physical visual waveform.

  • You start by uploading or generating audio using any source (voice recording, video audio, or a generated clip).
  • That audio is processed, which converts the sound into numeric waveform data.
  • Those numbers are then copied directly into MakerWorld’s customization feature.
  • The model uses that data to generate a true bar-style waveform based on your audio.

How it works

Most of this process is handled using: https://waveformpixelgenerator.netlify.app/. This website guides you through converting your audio into waveform data. At the end, you copy the generated numbers and paste them into the MakerWorld customization panel. The model then builds your personalized waveform automatically.

Features

  • No supports required
  • Prints in under 2 hours
  • Typically uses under 120g of filament
  • Hangs or sticks on walls
  • Easy print

What you can customize

  • Waveform input (your audio-derived number data)
  • Frame text (personal message, title, or name)
  • Layout proportions and overall sizing (depending on print settings)
  • Visual balance between waveform, photo area, and frame

Print Troubleshooting

  • Warping → Make sure the bed is clean, increase initial layer thickness, and/or raise bed temp
  • Poor First Layer → Dry filament, slow first layer, and/or calibrate printer
  • Stringing → Dry filament, lower nozzle temp, and/or slow print
  • Layer Shift → Tighten printer belts, slow print, and/or cry about it

Design intent

This model is designed for personalization and decor—turning a simple sound into a permanent visual object. Whether it’s a voice message, a short phrase, or a meaningful moment, the result is a piece of wall art that reflects something personal inside your home.
