Description

Tired of dull apple cutters that crush your apple instead of slicing it? This apple slicer with snap-off blades is the perfect solution.

All blades are inserted from the inside, except for one. Since it is not possible to complete the full circle from the inside, I designed a slit that goes all the way through the housing. This allows the final blade to be inserted from the outside. Once all blades are in place, they can be securely locked by inserting the eccentric pins and turning them to clamp the blades firmly in position.

The blades used for this project are standard 18 mm snap-off blades with a thickness of 0.6 mm. Each blade uses 5 break-off segments.
