Description

This miniature emergency call box is a detailed 3D-printed scale model of the classic roadside emergency phones found along German highways.

Designed at approximately 1:12 scale with a total height of around 150 mm, the model is intended both as a desktop display piece and as an educational prop for training scenarios.

Possible use cases include:

  • Driving school education
  • Traffic safety lessons
  • First aid and emergency training
  • Firefighter and rescue service instruction
  • Desk decoration for emergency service enthusiasts

The model includes several functional and realistic details:

  • Opening front flap
  • Front viewing hole
  • Separate front sign element
  • Accurate proportions inspired by the original German emergency call boxes

Assembly

The model is printed in multiple parts and can be assembled very easily.

Recommended assembly:

  • Glue the front sign in place using a drop of super glue
  • The main parts can either be press-fitted or glued permanently
  • The stand can simply be plugged into the base without glue if you want to keep it removable

The tolerances were designed for standard 0.4 mm nozzle printing and should fit on most properly calibrated printers without additional adjustments.

If your printer produces tolerances that are too tight or too loose, feel free to leave a comment so the model can be improved further if necessary.
