Description

The FLOW: Full ATX - Size PC Case

Overview

Inspired by the sleek, vertical aesthetic of the Fractal Ridge, this project takes the concept to a much larger scale. Unlike the original, this case is designed to house a full-size ATX motherboard and a standard ATX PSU, while offering significantly more ventilation.

Disclaimer - Skill Level & Compatibility

This is not a beginner project. The case was designed around my specific hardware components. Before you start printing, it is mandatory to inspect the provided CAD files and take measurements to ensure your specific GPU, CPU cooler, and cable management needs are met.

The whole case consumes approx 2.5 kg - make sure everything fits before you start printing all the files!

Please read the whole description and assembly guide before you start!

Printing & Assembly Tips

  1. Material: The provided printprofile is for PLA. I am running the setup with PLA for several months now, but my system does not generate that much heat (max 70 degree during high load). If your system is more powerfull -  I highly recommend using PETG. PLA might deform over time near the GPU or CPU exhaust.
  2. Assembly: A rough assembly guide is included in the files. Take a close look at the pictures to understand which part goes where.
  3. The Mesh: Cut off a leg of tights and stretch it over the front grill frame before securing it to the main front body. It provides a great aesthetic finish and acts as a fine dust filter.
  4. GPU: I built the case around a vertically mounted Gigabyte RTX 3060 Eagle OC. GPUs with similiar size (L=242 W=124 H=41 mm) should fit.
  5. CPU Fan: For my build I am using a ThermalRight AXP90 X53 low profile cooler. There is still plenty of headroom above the cooler for slightly bigger fan solutions.
