Description

This is a modern style concrete station hall for H0 scale, loosely based on a TT scale model produced by the VERO company (no longer in operation) in the 1970s. It has a modular design and can be stretched ad infinitum – simply add additional sections of 115mm length (10m in the real world) until it fits your model railroad station layout.
The arc and crossbeam will cover three Märklin H0 C tracks with 77,5mm and 145,6mm distance between tracks, with room for a 100mm platform between tracks and a smaller platform on one side. Fitting modular platform segments are included. The crossbeam height will accommodate tracks with overhead wire.

The model is in H0 model railway scale (1:87) and assembly is simple and straightforward. I designed it using Tinkercad and have printed my copies on a Bambu Lab X1C printer using PLA filament. The joints and part fittings are designed with tolerances of 0,2mm, which should give a good fit – not too tight, not too loose. You may have to cut and file some edges after print. A PDF file with step by step assembly instructions is included.

The choice of colors shown here will be a nice fit for my Solingen Hbf station model. But if you prefer, with a combination of dark color filaments (black, dark gray, dark brown) you can get a more traditional dark look for a station hall.
Enjoy.
