Hey! Like my models? Feel free to leave a boost as they are greatly appreciated! Happy printing! :D
Read below for printing details! Also, I didn't notice until I made this model, but the two spools of filament on the right side of the heading →
look exactly like the fidget I just made! (Specifically the 3rd pic including the cover)😂

- This model is entirely print in place! That means that there is no assembly or anything, just a fun fidget spool!
- There are a bit of supports, but that is just for one side of the spool, on top of the filament. They are easy to remove, though I caution the use of silk filaments on supports…
- It is two colors, but only take 38 mins (on an A1). I just did colors by layer, so when it hits the wrapped filament it changes from white to that color, and when it hits the other side of the spool again, changes to white!
- Immediately after printing, the spinner can be a little stiff! This is normal and ok! All you have to do if firmly grip the inner part, and twist the outer part, this will loosen it up! Once you do that, it spins perfectly and freely!
- I also caution the use of silk filaments for this print. During a few test prints, the silk filament on the supports would mess up, and then the supports would fall. I think that it is because of the different natures of PLA and PLA Silk!
Warning for the multi color print profile: When you open it, it looks single color. Trust me it is multi color, but the way I did it makes it wierd. If you close the file and open a different one, it makes it single color, so only open it to print it or you must download it again! Below is a snip of what the multi color looks like once you slice it:

Tips Before Printing:
Clean the print bed before printing!!
I recommend thoroughly cleaning with dish soap and drying really well.
This ensures that there are no dirty or oily spots on the build plate during a print, and helps with the overall bed adhesion!
Enjoy + Happy Printing!
P.S. If you have some spare time, please check out some of my other models! I have some especially fun ones (in my completely non-bias opinion) coming out soon too! Thank you!
Need a way to store a larger amount of these fidgets? Check out my shelf print profile! It holds 12 spool spinners, and looks good too! See print profile description for further details!
