Description
This handheld device was developed with the goal of integrating as many useful functions as possible into a compact, standalone Meshtastic device – without sacrificing classic app usage. The result is a fully equipped mesh client that can be operated both via Bluetooth with the Meshtastic App and completely autonomously via an integrated keyboard.
The foundation is a Heltec V3 with an integrated LoRa and ESP32 module, supplemented by a separate GPS module, as well as additional sensors and output elements. This creates a versatile device for mobile mesh use with maximum functionality in a limited space.
A hardware ON/OFF switch completely disconnects the power supply from the battery. This eliminates standby consumption and parasitic discharge currents, significantly improving storage life and actual operating time.
