Rubber Band Gun V3 – Print in Place 🔫

The Rubber Band Gun V3 is a fully print-in-place design built for smoother firing, improved durability, and longer-range shots. No assembly required — just print, remove any small supports if needed, load your rubber bands, and start firing.

What’s New in V3?

For this version, I redesigned and increased the size of the key band-contact parts to improve performance:

  • Larger firing arms and hooks give the rubber bands a better grip and more consistent release.
  • Thicker structural sections reduce flex during firing, allowing more energy to transfer into the shot instead of bending the mechanism.
  • Expanded band channels help the rubber bands travel more smoothly with less friction.
  • The increased dimensions also allow the gun to handle stronger and slightly wider rubber bands, resulting in:
    • Greater shooting distance
    • Faster shots
    • Improved accuracy and reliability

Features

  • ✅ Fully print in place
  • ✅ No supports required (depending on printer tuning)
  • ✅ Functional trigger mechanism
  • ✅ Optimized for stronger rubber band tension
  • ✅ Durable upgraded V3 design
