Description

Modular PLA Standing Lamp

I would like to present my modular standing lamp made entirely from PLA filament.
The model is designed for easy FDM printing using two filament colors without requiring an AMS system.

The lamp uses a standard 5V LED spotlight/module as the light source.

Its modular construction allows you to build the lamp in multiple height configurations depending on the desired look and light intensity.

Light Levels & Configurations

1-Level Version

This version provides the strongest light output.

Print:

  • 1× Plate 1
  • 1× Plate 2
  • 1× Plate 3

Height:

  • Approximately 20 cm

2-Level Version

A taller decorative version with softer light on the upper level.

Print:

  • 2× Plate 1
  • 1× Plate 2
  • 1× Plate 3
  • 1× Plate 4

Height:

  • Approximately 40 cm

Multi-Level Version

You can continue adding more levels depending on your preference.

Keep in mind:

  • The higher the lamp becomes, the softer the light gets on the upper sections.
  • I personally printed a 3-level version and it creates a very pleasant ambient atmosphere in the evening.

    Assembly

  • Print the required plates for your chosen configuration.
  • Install the 5V LED spotlight/module.
  • Stack and assemble the modules together.
  • Connect the LED to a suitable 5V power source.
