Stage 2 takes automation to a new level by combining intelligent build-plate wave bending, automatic door opening, and force-sensing safety. This enables reliable detachment of virtually any print, even large, flat-surface parts that challenged Stage 1.

How It Works

• Automatic Door Opening: One of the first automatic door opening systems for the Bambu Lab H Series you can buy. 64N of motorized force opens and closes your door on command, with a push of a button or fully automatic when in looping mode. Keep your chamber heated. Print any material. No more choosing between enclosure and automation.
• Active Wave Bending: Two precision linear actuators clip directly into the slots on the H Series build plate and lift it up to 75mm. They can fire together for a synchronized bend, or out of sync at different stroke lengths and timings, sending a rolling wave across the plate that progressively breaks adhesion from edge to edge. Parts that might survive a one-sided bend can't survive a wave. Because bending only engages after the print finishes, the Z axis stays locked, so you keep the full printable height of the H Series with no risk of crushing the plate (a limitation of passive Stage 1 designs). This is the first time wave-style bending has been implemented on any 3D printer we know of.
• Smart Safety System: Force-sensing technology detects obstacles instantly, whether it's overflowing prints, a forgotten tool, or your fingers. If something blocks the door, the system triggers an error and stops your printer before damage occurs. No runaway prints. No disasters.
