Description

Minimalist 10" Switch Beautifier designed for 10-inch racks.

This model is originally made to fit the Lab Rax series, but works for other similar 10" racks.

Features:

  • Minimal: On the outside face, it provides a clean and uncluttered interface of 5 ports, with the main one being spaced differently so it's easy to visually identify the main network cable.
  • Modular: If you have a bigger switch model, all you have to do is download the model and stretch the cubby width to be bigger than your switch width. Please account for the 0.4cm bezels (0.2cm on each side) in your calculations.
  • Universal Standard:  The keystones are following the universal standard, and this model includes the best fitting 3d-printable ones available at the moment…they snap into place easily and have a very tight fit afterwards! The bracket itself also uses standard M6 holes placed at the exact universal spacing for 10 inch racks. No more annoying too-large or extra mounting holes!
  • Cable management: The switch bed contains multiple elements specially designed to help you keep your setup tight. It features a 0.75cm long bar to witch you can tie your cables to, a small hole for the switch power cable, and a gap through which to route your cables nicely to the keystones.

Print Settings:

  • Material: PLA, PETG.
  • Infill: 15% - 20%.
  • Supports: Recommended “Tree (auto)” on “Slim” settings.
  • Install: Supports any M6 variation.

Installation

  1. Insert Keystones: Before mounting anything, insert the keystones into your bracket. It is significantly easier to do it outside the rack.
  2. Install Switch: Place your network switch onto the bed and connect the power cable (use the small whole to the side to route it through).
  3. Route Cables: Attach the patch cables from your switch to the 4 keystones on the right side of the plate, and the main network cable to the left side of the plate.
  4. Mount: Use the M6 screws to attach the mount to your 10" rack.
  5. Boot & Connect: Route your internet cable to the keystone on the left side of the plate, and plug in your power cable. Your switch is now live!
