Description
2026.6.25 Update
A new plug-in silicone desiccant box has been added, featuring the classic lambda headphone grille pattern on the side. It can be used with a STAX dust cover to reduce storage humidity and comes with a small funnel for easy refilling (dissimilar material support is recommended)

Headphone Stand for STAX Advance Lambda
A month ago, I went with a friend to audition over-ear headphones. When I auditioned STAX, I felt I had found my favorite sound characteristics in my life so far, so I purchased a second-hand L500mk2 and D10. The first time I sat in front of the computer and listened to the L500mk2, I almost shed tears of emotion (just kidding). After that, I learned about the history of STAX and electrostatic technology and grew to love electrostatic headphones even more. I am currently learning Fusion, and this is my second modeling work (the first was a wide cable spool for STAX headphones, which will also be uploaded after prototyping and adjustments are completed
Accessories You Will Need
4x 20mmx2mm feet
One 2mm thick sponge (it is recommended to use a medium-hard sponge with a Shore hardness of 30 degrees or more. I use silicone foam sponge. If you have a sufficient budget, you can use Poron. EVA is not recommended as it will collapse over time, easily age, and shed debris that can be inhaled into the headphone diaphragm)
Production and Assembly Process
I use x2d for dissimilar material support printing. The bottom engraving and foot pad slots will have PETG support layers. This feature can be used to achieve different textures for the engraving. Supports are generated only from the build plate. If it is a single-nozzle machine like a P2S, you need to adjust the support parameters yourself. At the same time, the printing speed of inner and outer walls has been reduced to alleviate cooling lines. If you want better results, you can enable the inner wall/outer wall/inner wall option.

In the picture, K-company's PLA Marble is used for printing. It is recommended to use matte filaments to hide layer lines. The suggested plate layout is as shown:

The file includes four sponge cutting templates, which can be fixed onto the release paper of the sponge adhesive with double-sided tape and then cut with a craft knife. This step is quite tedious, so please be patient! If the sponge is soft and not completely cut through, do not pull it forcefully! Otherwise, you will end up with a ragged sponge!
If you have the budget, you can also take the template files to a manufacturer for die-cutting.

How to Use and Purpose of the Headphone Stand
Thanks to the square housing of the Lambda series, this unit support headphone stand can be used. When inserting and removing headphones, please handle them gently. The headphone base has reserved space for cables and made allowances for the plug. When inserting and removing, simply lift the headband. The other hand can hold the cable to prevent it from snagging or being pressed. The headphone stand can also serve as a maintenance stand, making it more convenient to replace the headband and head strap. The hollowed-out part below the headphone stand can theoretically be used to store cables, but I have not tried it myself, so please proceed with caution.
Thank you very much for liking my work! I also hope that I and fellow enthusiasts who enjoy electrostatic headphones can continue to witness the development and popularization of STAX and electrostatic technology! Happy listening everyone!
