Description
Pip the Pink Moth Flexi
Meet Pip, a beautifully engineered, fully articulated pink moth designed specifically for 3D printing!
Pip combines the delicate, whimsical aesthetic of a silk moth with robust, print-in-place mechanics.
With an articulated body, posable wings and legs, Pip is incredibly fun to hold, pose, and fidget with.
This is my first Flexi design and I've chosen a rather unknown animal.
See for yourself how colorful those moths are in real life.
🌟 Features
- 100% Print-in-Place: No assembly, no gluing. Pop it off the build plate and it's ready to move!
- Articulated Anatomy: Features a flexible multi-segmented body, fully jointed wings, and six independently moving legs.
- Minimal Supports Required: Designed with optimized overhangs and minimal supports in mind.
- Separated Meshes: Easy material assigning!
When removing the supports. There is a small support under the hinges of the wings. Use a tweezer to remove those. It's not necessary to do so but improves the articulation.
