Description

This is my original NEW filament clip designed from scratch using only Bambu Studio!
In this project, I focused on creating a simple, durable, and easy-to-print filament clip that works smoothly for everyday 3D printing use.

The entire modeling process was created directly inside Bambu Studio without using advanced CAD software.
If you are a beginner and want to start designing your own 3D printable models, this project is a great example of how simple ideas can become practical tools.

Features of this filament clip:

  • Easy to print
  • Beginner-friendly structure
  • Smooth filament holding
  • Compact and durable design
  • No complicated assembly required
  • Optimized for fast printing

I also tested multiple dimensions and shapes to improve the usability and strength of the clip while keeping print time short.
The model is designed to print cleanly on Bambu Lab printers, but it should also work well on many other FDM 3D printers.

Recommended print settings:

  • Layer Height: 0.2mm
  • Wall Loops: 2
  • Infill: 15% to 20%
  • Material: PLA / PETG
  • Supports: Not required

This design is perfect for organizing filament ends and keeping your workspace cleaner and more efficient.

On my YouTube channel, I also share:

  • Full design process videos
  • Beginner-friendly Bambu Studio tutorials
  • Smartphone-only 3D printing workflows
  • Print setting explanations
  • Real printing demonstrations
  • DIY 3D printing ideas and tools
