Vintage Desk Microphone (Multi-Part No-Waste Model)

Add a retro touch to your desk with this vintage/podcast style microphone! The model was entirely designed from scratch by dividing the components into separate parts

Why this design is special?

• No Waste: You don't need a multi-color printer (AMS/MMU) to customize it. You can print each piece individually with the filament color of your choice
• Easy and Clean Printing: Dividing it into parts minimizes the use of supports, ensuring smooth surfaces and precise fittings
• Simple Assembly: The pieces snap together and connect easily using the side pins of the stand

Components included in the project:

1. Top Grille (Yellow): Optimized to showcase the internal capsule
2. Lower Body (Magenta): The base of the microphone
3. Internal Capsule (Black): An internal aesthetic detail to add depth to the grille
4. U-shaped Support (Fork): The stand that holds the microphone and allows for tilt adjustment
5. Support Base (White): Solid and stable for the desk
6. Side Pins/Knobs: To lock the microphone onto the fork

Printing Tips (Print Settings):

• Material: PLA (perfect for the details and vibrant colors of this model)
• Layer Height: 0.16 mm or 0.20 mm. For the top grille and the domed base, a lower layer height (or adaptive layers) will make the top curves very smooth
• Walls: 2 wall loops are sufficient
• Supports: Not essential, but to be safer and improve the result, only a minimal amount of "Tree" support might be needed
