TrayStack is a compact organizer for small parts, tools, or SD cards, specifically designed for the desk. The entire system is optimized for the A1 mini's build volume, provides maximum stability with minimal material usage, and follows the principle: Form Follows Function

Want something bigger? Feel free to use the new TrayStack MAX System to perfectly store everything

The Concept: Three Levels. One Handle. Full Control

The system consists of an outer box and three perfectly matched inserts:

  • The Base Tray (Bottom): Features an integrated central handle that extends over the entire height of the system. It forms the stable "spine"
  • The Stack Trays (Middle & Top): Thanks to precisely toleranced guide slots, the upper trays are simply threaded over the handle and slide smoothly into position

Handling: When all inserts are nested, you simply grasp the central handle and lift the complete 3-tiered block out of the box with one hand or put it back in. No wobbling, no jamming

Full Flexibility: 4 Variants per Level

To get the maximum individuality for your setup, the system is completely modular. Each individual insert (base, middle part, and top part) exists in 4 different variants with different tray sizes and compartment divisions. You simply select these via the plate selection of the corresponding print profile. Whether you want to store long pens, tiny SMD components, screws, USB sticks, or tools - you can print exactly the combination you need for your workflow

Conscious Design Decision: No Vertical Stacking

An important note on the design philosophy of this project: The boxes are deliberately NOT designed to be vertically stackable

Why? To maintain the clear, minimalist, and functional design on the desk. Vertical stacking systems tend to appear bulky and block quick access with this compact footprint. TrayStack relies on direct, ergonomic workflow on a single level

Modular Extension: The TrayStack Grid

Need more space? Instead of building upwards, TrayStack expands horizontally. Using the TrayStack Grid, you can modularly extend the system lengthwise. With the Grid, multiple boxes can be seamlessly and securely fixed next to each other. Thus, your organizer system grows precisely with your requirements, while your desk remains visually clean and tidy

For maximum printing flexibility, 3 different Grid components are available:

  • The Single Grid: Perfect if you want to neatly frame a single, isolated box and give it a firm stand on the table
  • The End Piece (Outer Side): The finishing grid for the outside. If you want to use exactly two boxes next to each other, simply print two of them. They connect directly to each other, and you can place your two boxes inside
  • The Extension Piece (Extension Part): The universal middle piece. With this, you can extend your row infinitely often in the middle, to place as many boxes next to each other as your desk allows
