Description

Boost Me (for free)

🚀 If you like the design, a boost would really help support future upgrades and new printer accessories 🙌

I’m already working on additional compatibility tests for X1C, P1S and P2S — plus possible larger and modular versions 👀

Thanks for the support 💚

🧩 Build Plate Dock X2D / P2S / P1S

A compact side-mounted storage dock designed to keep your build plates organized, accessible, and cleanly integrated with your printer setup ✨

The dock hooks directly onto the printer's outer top panel — no screws, magnets, or additional hardware required 🔥

✅ Features

• Holds up to 5 build plates
• Tool-free installation
• Compact & space-saving design
• Stable angled geometry
• Easy plate access
• No additional hardware needed
• Optimized for fast and clean printing

🆕 Optimized Version Available

An optimized version has been uploaded featuring several improvements based on testing and user feedback:

• Extended lower hooks for improved panel engagement
• Slightly steeper locking angle for a more secure hold
• Increased stability when inserting or removing plates
• Reduced chance of accidental dislodging
• Improved overall fit and retention while fully loaded

💡 If you're downloading the model for the first time, the Optimized Version is recommended.

🖨️ Compatibility

✅ Tested on

• X2D
• P2S
• P1S

🔍 Likely compatible with

• X1C

I still need to fully verify the outer top panel thickness and tolerances on those printers, so community feedback and fit confirmations are highly appreciated 🙌

If tolerances vary slightly between printers, minimal sanding may be required.

🎯 Design Goals

• Clean integrated look
• Fast access to build plates
• Minimal footprint
• Stable mounting
• Lightweight & efficient print

🚀 Installation

Simply hook the dock over the printer's outer top panel edge and start loading your build plates 😄

No tools, magnets, screws, or modifications required.

💚 If you print one, I'd love to see your setup and hear your feedback. Your input helps improve future versions and compatibility testing across additional printers. 🚀✨
