Description

This aquarium cave tunnel was originally made to give my shrimp more hiding places and shaded areas to explore while also adding natural sandstone-style hardscape detail to the tank. The smooth flowing tunnel shape creates a sheltered cave-like space perfect for resting, hiding, or swimming through.

It can be used for many different types of fish or aquatic pets depending on the size you print it at. The natural sandstone-inspired design blends well into freshwater aquariums, aquascapes, paludariums, and even reptile or amphibian enclosures. Its low-profile shape also makes it easy to partially bury into substrate for a more natural sunken cave appearance.

The model can also be painted or dry-brushed to better match your own enclosure style or rock theme. A secondary fuzzy texture version is also included for those wanting a softer weathered sandstone appearance.

Important Notes: For aquarium use, I recommend printing with at least 80% infill to help the model sink properly and stay weighted underwater. Please rinse thoroughly before placing into any aquarium or enclosure.
