Hello everyone

I finally got my new bike and immediately discovered the first problem: The front out mount of my Orbea Terra Race is only designed for Garmin or Wahoo computers. Since I've been using my iPhone and an SP Connect front out mount for years, I was looking for a suitable adapter. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one, so I quickly designed one myself

This adapter connects the SP Connect standard with common Garmin, Wahoo, or Aero front out mounts and has the same hole spacing as the original mounts

Print Settings

  • Material: ABS (recommended for UV and heat resistance)
  • Infill: at least 40%
  • Wall thickness: 6

Required Hardware

  • 2× M3×4×4 Hot Melt Inserts (threaded inserts)
  • 2× M3 screws (length depending on existing mount)
  • Soldering iron for inserting the inserts

Assembly

  1. Melt the hot melt inserts into the designated holes with a soldering iron and let them cure
  2. Screw the adapter onto the existing Garmin, Wahoo, or Aero mount
  3. Click the SP Connect mount into place as usual - done

Feedback and suggestions for improvement are very welcome
