What makes it different?

Most AMS Lite filament dryers on MakerWorld either don't fit the A1 Mini's build plate or are unnecessarily complex. This one is designed from the ground up to be fully printable on the A1 Mini, modular (each dryer is independent), and easy to maintain.

  • ✅ Compatible with spools up to ø20 cm (virtually universal)
  • ✅ Tested with SUNLU, BambuLab, DEEPLEE, ELEGOO spools
  • ✅ Integrated XF001 thermohygrometer slot for real-time humidity monitoring
  • ✅ Plexiglass windows to inspect the filament without opening
  • ✅ Tool-free spool swap and filament jam access

Measured Performance

Please take a look at the included guide!

Tested in Emilia Romagna (notoriously humid ~52% RH ambient):

VersionMin RH reachedPlateau duration
Not glued~39% RH (–13%)~1 day
Sealed (epoxy + tape)~32% RH (–20%)~4 days

Recommended silica gel replacement: weekly (sealed) or twice a week (standard).

⚠️ Not intended for long-term storage of moisture-sensitive filaments. Suitable for passive drying of PLA, PETG, and similar materials during printing. It was developed to make sure we could print PVA without damaging the whole spool to then put it back for long term storage into vacuum dry-bags.

Print Settings

All parts were printed on a Bambulab A1 Mini. Total print time per dryer: ~16h 37m / ~480g.
