Description

A pair of aggressive, aerodynamically designed radiator wings/side fairings, engineered to blend perfectly with the bike's sharp lines. This kit completely replaces the stock plastic side covers with a perfect fit, giving your bike a unique, custom factory look.

🚀 Print Info & Tested Profile:

The provided print profile is ready to print, fully tested, and custom-optimized for the Bambu Lab A1 using PETG filament (successfully tested with Creality PETG). Tree supports and Z-distances have been finely tuned to ensure clean overhangs and effortless support removal.

🛠️ Installation Guide & Important Notes:

  1. Direct Replacement: These winglets fit directly in place of the original side fairings with zero modifications required.
  2. Transfer the Threaded U-Clip (Crucial): Before installing the 3D-printed part, remember to remove the metal threaded speed nut (U-clip) from the upper hole of the original OEM part (see detail photo) and slide it onto the corresponding tab of the printed winglet.
  3. Hole Alignment: If the hole of the metal clip and the printed part do not align perfectly, do not force the screw. Simply insert a screwdriver into the hole and gently pry it to align and open it up slightly until the holes are perfectly centered.

✨ Post-Processing Tips for an OEM Look:

For best outdoor durability, printing in PETG or ASA is highly recommended. To completely hide 3D printing layer lines and achieve a professional, injection-molded finish:

  • Sanding: Give it a quick dry sand with 320-grit sandpaper to smooth out any rough spots.
  • Filler Primer: Apply 2-3 coats of automotive filler primer. This will melt into the layer lines and fill the gaps.
  • Wet Sanding: Once dry, wet-sand the primer with 600-grit sandpaper until it feels perfectly smooth.
  • Paint: Finish with a coat of matte or satin black paint to match the bike's frame, followed by a protective clear coat.
