This is Version 2 (V2) of the mount, featuring a more compact and streamlined design. Despite its smaller footprint, it offers the exact same structural integrity as the original version, ensuring a rock-solid hold with absolutely no compromises in strength.
Designed specifically for Yamaha TMAX 500 models from 2001 to 2006, this mount allows you to securely attach GPS units, smartphones, tablets, navigation devices, and other accessories using standard ball-mount systems. The mount features a 25mm (1-inch) ball, fully compatible with RAM-style systems and other common adapters.

- Tested Material (ASA): The V2 mount has been successfully printed and tested using ASA. ASA is highly recommended for its exceptional UV resistance, high heat deflection temperature, and superior durability against harsh outdoor conditions.
- Print Settings: For maximum strength, it was printed with 5–6 walls (perimeters) and a 30% infill.
- Alternative Material (PETG): If you prefer, this mount can also be successfully printed in PETG without any issues. PETG remains an excellent, field-tested choice for motorcycle use due to its good impact resistance and flexibility under vibration.
- Real-World Proof: This updated setup holds incredibly firmly and has proven to withstand regular use with zero failures or loosening.
Installation
- Adhesive Mounting: No drilling or permanent modifications required. The mount is installed using high-quality 3M double-sided tape.
- Surface Prep: Before installation, clean the mounting surface thoroughly to remove all dust, grease, and oils.
- Application: Once the tape is applied, press the mount firmly against the surface to ensure proper adhesion and a long-lasting bond.
